The company says it expects to be out of its Golden Triangle location by year-end.
“We haven’t found a new home yet, but we’re definitely looking,” said Maury Ankrum, owner of The Tended Thicket.
CCIG, led by CEO Brook Mahoney, has about 95 employees and says revenue has grown 144 percent in five years.
Green Door Furniture operated at 3985 Tennyson St. prior to the blaze. The deal also includes a home across the alley.
“This is a cool fusion between the two,” said Mike Zakhem, of Zakhem Real Estate Group.
The company says it is coming to nine cities in the metro area. It already operates in Lakewood.
The shuttering of the Cowboy Lounge and Tavern Downtown comes in the wake of the relocation of the adjacent Cook Street School of Culinary Arts.
Applebee’s previously operated at the site in Glendale.
“With the patio right on the water — there’s not another like it on the Front Range,” said Mario Vega, who is teaming up with Le Peep CEO Kevin Wessel.
