Arkansas-based Encore Bank has leased space in Belleview Station for its first local office and branch.

Encore, which is headquartered in Little Rock, said Wednesday that it has leased 6,305 square feet on the 13th floor of the office building at 6900 Layton Ave. in Denver.

In a statement, Encore Colorado President Josh Peebles cited the area’s “convenient arterial accesses to all major business centers of Denver such as Cherry Creek and the Central Business District.”

Encore is also working to open a branch in Boulder.

Encore opened for business as Capital Bank in 1997, according to its website. It changed to its current name in 2019. The company also has locations in Arkansas, Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

The building was completed in 2020 by Denver-based developer Prime West. Other tenants in the 15-story building include gold mining giant Newmont, oil and gas firm DCP Midstream, SSR Mining, health care transportation firm LogistiCare Solutions and financial services firm Gen II Fund Services.
