Boulder home tops December sales at $7.5 million

A Boulder home that’s sold three times in just over two years tops December’s list of priciest local home sales, according to MLS data.

The 5,365-square-foot home, built in 2012 and located in the heart of Historic Mapleton Hill at 2299 4th St., was once featured on the cover of Luxe Architecture & Design Magazine.

Kimberly Thompson and Paige Coutts of Milehimodern in Boulder listed the five-bedroom, four-bathroom house designed by Surround Architecture on Aug. 9 for $8.5 million.

Kimberly Chatman with New Era Group served as the buyer’s agent for the $7.5 million sale on Dec. 5. 

According to Boulder County property records, Kyle John and Lacey Jo Musick sold the home to Eric Echelmeyer and the Laura S. Bell Trust. 

The home, which offers views of the Flatirons, Red Rocks and Mount Sanitas, sold for $6.4 million in May 2021 and $6 million in October 2020.
