A building at the edge of LoDo that houses Irish pub Celtic on Market has changed hands for the first time since the 1990s.
Continuance-1400 Market LLC purchased 1400 Market St. last week for $6.05 million, according to public records.
The registered agent for the buyer is Rob Eber, state records show. He is a member of the family that sold the historic Evans School building in the Golden Triangle and parking lots surrounding it for a combined $40 million in 2019 and 2020.
The Market Street building is about 16,500 square feet, which makes the deal worth about $366 a square foot.
Celtic on Market occupies the basement and first floor, about 11,000 square feet. The bar was founded at 1801 Blake St. in 2000 and moved to its current location in 2017.
NAI Shames Makovsky broker Ana Sandomire, who represented the seller along with colleague Evan Makovsky, said she’s marketing the 5,500 square feet of office space on the building’s second floor for lease.
The property was sold by Denver-based Focus Property Group, led by Bahman Shafa. Focus purchased the property for $1 million in 1996, records show.
