Stem Ciders opened its second location on Saturday, growing its Colorado footprint by several acres.
The Acreage ciderhouse has launched in Lafayette at 1380 Horizon Ave. The 30,000-square-foot building sits on 4 acres, which includes an orchard.
Stem Ciders broke ground on the project in January 2017. Unlike the RiNo location, Acreage has a full kitchen and restaurant.
In August, Stem Ciders closed on a $6.2 million SBA loan for the facility. The cidery first started raising funds for the project in February 2016 when it reported a $1.2 million capital raise.
