A new brewery is pouring drafts beside a West Colfax landmark.
Anthony Martuscello opened WestFax Brewing Co. yesterday next to Casa Bonita in Lakewood. He’s been building out the 3,600-square-foot brewery since spring 2015 and is starting off with a seven-barrel brewing system.
The brew house launched with six beer styles on tap, including the Two by Peach, Worldly Pale Ale and a vanilla porter.
WestFax was one of a few new tenants to sign on last year at the recently renamed Lamar Station Plaza, formerly the JCRS Shopping Center. The center’s owner, Broad Street Realty, also added a new Planet Fitness gym and the Lakewood Arts Council since buying the property in 2014.
