The Schleier mansion on the corner of 17th Avenue and Grant Street is for sale.

Address: 1665 N. Grant St.

Price: $3.6 million

Stats: The 17,000-square-foot mansion has 19 bedrooms and five bathrooms. George Schleier, a German immigrant, commissioned architect E. F. Edbrooke in the 1880s to build the Queen Anne mansion, which is now listed on the National Historic Register.

Seller: Mary Baum, according to Denver property records. She purchased the property in 1999 for $1.3 million and used the mansion to house her marketing firm Baum Arensmeier & Talent Inc., according to The Denver Post.

Listing broker: Dee Chirafisi with Kentwood Real Estate.

The finer things: The Schleier Mansion features an intricate wood staircase with Bavarian swans and gargoyles, alluding to Schleier’s German heritage. The home has stained glass windows and hardwood floors, and also features a separate carriage house, courtyard and patio.
