A specialty leather boot brand stomped into Cherry Creek last week.
The Frye Co. held at grand opening at its new retail store at 2929 E. Second Ave. About 140 people attended the party, including a man better known for his fast hands than his well-heeled feet: Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Tim Howard.
Frye, based in New York, was founded in 1863 and sells leather bags, accessories and leather boots for men, women and children. Frye has 13 locations in the United States.
Boots range in price from $1,600 for a men’s boot to $48 for a baby’s boot.
