A Littleton ice cream shop is going for a second scoop downtown.

Inside Scoop Creamery is opening in the former GoLite storefront at 1535 Platte St. The restaurant will make two Inside Scoop outlets after the brand launched in downtown Littleton about two years ago.

Inside Scoop owners did not return calls and emails by press time. A Facebook page for the Platte Street ice cream parlor advertises 20 different flavors. Inside Scoop also carries sorbet and sugar-free and gluten-free varieties, according to the company website.

Platte Street’s storefronts have seen a run of turnover in recent months. GoLite shut down for good earlier this year after filing for bankruptcy in 2014. Paris on the Platte ended a 28-year run at 1553 Platte St. in January, and Habit Doughnut Dispensary and Carbon Care are moving in.
