A Cherry Hills mansion with a steep slate roof was the highest-priced home sold in March, according Metrolist Denver MLS, fetching $4.1 million.
The 8,000-square foot house, located at 4101 S. Colorado Blvd., sits across the street from Three Pond Park. It has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Diamond Homes finished the house in 2014 for a client, who then listed it for sale.
“It’s mirrored off of English cottage architecture, and the roof is the prominent feature,” said Steve Diamond, who runs Diamond Homes with his brother Ed. “It’s Vermont slate and a very beautiful, very steep roof.”
Diamond said his client demolished an old ranch, and then construction took about 14 months on the 2.4 acre plot.
Charles Downing was the architect.
The buyers are Thomas and Martha Dillenberg, according to Arapahoe County records.
Realtor Linda Behr with LIV Sotheby’s International listed the home in mid-February.
