The co-working boom rolls on in the Golden Triangle.

Shift Workspaces has started turning the former Fistell’s Electronics Supply building at 1001 Bannock St. into its second Denver-area shared office outlet. Shift bought the 12,000-square-foot building from Fistell Holdings LLC in 2014 and is advertising a 2016 opening on its website.

The building at Bannock and 10th will be the second location for Shift. The shared office concept opened its first location at 383 Corona St. in 2012 and has a third planned for the former Cathedral High School at 1840 Grant St.

Shift is one of many Denver-area office share brands in expansion mode. Galvanize, whose first location is about two blocks over from Shift’s Golden Triangle building, is opening a second Denver location on Platte Street. And new shared office concept Ignitrr is under construction on Broadway.

Thrive Workplace, with offices in Cherry Creek and LoDo, is adding a third location in the ballpark neighborhood. ModWorks is adding space at its 16th Street location, and at least two more shared office projects are in the works in Five Points and RiNo.
