Mayor Michael Hancock arrived at Rosenberg’s Bagels in Five Points yesterday for a panel discussion about small businesses in Denver. The goal of the panel was to discuss strategies to help small businesses thrive in the city.
“We’re here today meeting with small businesses today to evaluate what we’ve been doing correctly as well as identify what we can do better,” Hancock said. “Downtown is driving a lot of growth and a lot of investors, but there’s no growth in the economy if all the neighborhoods aren’t strong.”
He also cited Denver’s safety and education system as important factors of economic growth.
