Stem Ciders is pruning its real estate holdings.
The beverage company, founded in 2013 by Eric Foster and Phil Kao, sold Lafayette land at 1380 Horizon Ave. to developer Tebo Properties for $12.2 million early last month, according to Boulder County records.
Stem will lease the 30,000 square-foot facility that sits on the 7.6-acre property, a spokesperson for Tebo said.
The space is home to Acreage Ciderhouse and Eatery, a 5,000-square-foot full-service restaurant, as well as the company’s 15,000-square-foot production facility, according to its website.
Ahead of its 2018 opening, Stem said the space would allow it to make up to 100,000 barrels of cider a year – $43 million in sales.
Representatives for Stem and Tebo did not return several requests for comment.
Stem is owned by Wilding Brands, which Eric Foster, still listed as Stem’s CEO, founded last year.
