A 132-acre Castle Rock ranch owned by former TW Telecom President and CEO John Blount sold for a record $7.8 million to top August home sales in the Denver metro area.
The August top five includes two mansions that sold over their list price.
Blount bought the B5 Ranch in 2007 for $3.3 million.
The 1395 Waverton Ranch Road property includes a 10,425-square-foot mansion with six bedrooms and eight baths. The property also has a guest house, pool, hot tub, tennis court, skeet shooting range, more than 1,000 pine trees, and an Aspen grove.
