Less than a year after it was built, a custom Boulder home has sold for $5.6 million, earning the top spot amongst local home sales in January.

The 6,123-square-foot home sits on a 0.65-acre lot at 2140 Tamarack Ave. in a North Boulder cul-de-sac, and was built by Denver-based Brown Development Group in 2021.

The four-bed, five-bath home features an open floor plan with 12-foot living room windows, a Thermador Professional kitchen, Bavarian white oak floors and ceilings, walnut cabinetry by R. Chase Design and custom Italian lighting and plumbing fixtures.  A modern staircase with its own built-in glass wine rack leads upstairs toward a third-story observatory and outdoor deck with mountain views, according to the listing.

The buyer was Hai Dreams Trust, who was represented by Jennifer Egbert with milehimodern. Lance Smith with Live West Realty represented the seller.
