An Italian interior design brand has found a new home to decorate in Denver.
Milan-based Boffi is planning to open its first independent studio in Denver at 215 Saint Paul St. in Cherry Creek in January.
The interior design brand previously operated under Solesdi, which sells high-end furniture brands in showrooms across the U.S. But late last year, the two parted ways.
Boffi originally began selling its kitchen designs and furnishings within Solesdi’s showroom at 2800 Walnut St. in 2017, but Boffi Denver’s managing director, Ann Hofmeister, said the brand has outgrown the space.
“We have expanded our abilities since we now have our own furniture company and our own door company. So, we need more space,” Hofmeister said.
Boffi sells customized kitchens, baths, closets, and the brand recently acquired DePadova and MA/U, which offer a large furniture selection, including sofas, dining tables and rugs, as well as ADL, which offers a selection of interior doors with a wide range of finishes.
The company also partnered with Time & Style, a traditional Japanese company, which created a line of low tables, chairs, and light fixtures made from solid wood and traditional Japanese washi paper that will be featured in the store.
The brand already has independent showrooms in New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Chicago and Miami.
Boffi signed a lease for its new 2,700-square-foot Cherry Creek studio in July. Karen Landers Zeile with Kentwood Commercial represented the brand, and Rhonda Coy with Crosbie Real Estate Group represented the landlord.
“I personally think this is the best space in all of Cherry Creek,” Hofmeister. “We have a corner space with all windows, and it will definitely be a beautiful space that will attract people, whether they have a home project or not.”
