Tami Door is stepping down as president and CEO of the Downtown Denver Partnership after 17 years.

Door, who began leading the organization in 2004, announced last week that she will leave her position in mid-November.

“I feel incredible pride for all that we as a downtown community have accomplished together during the last 17 years,” Door said in a statement. “As I make this transition, I take great comfort in the fact that the Partnership is in outstanding shape as an organization, our leadership is strong, and we are supported by a committed community of city builders.”

The partnership said it is beginning a national search to find Door’s replacement.

Cooper J. Overcash has joined the transactional group of Woods Aitken. He has degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Virginia.

Colin Wattleworth has been promoted to development director with Metropolitan Residential Advisors.

Jordan Soudani is director of agent development with VIP Real Estate.
