Bank of America wants to join Chase outside the Walmart at the corner of Federal Boulevard and Evans Avenue.
A concept plan was submitted to the city this month calling for a branch at 2120 S. Federal Blvd.
The building at the site once housed a combination Long John Silver’s and A&W fast food restaurant. Archived Google Street View images indicate the property has been vacant since at least April 2015.
The parcel sits on the outskirts of a Walmart Supercenter, along with a gas station, 7-Eleven, Mexican restaurant and Chase Bank branch.
