A Cherry Hills Village mansion that was built in 1999 and recently renovated sold for $4.5 million in May, grabbing the title of the priciest residential sale in the Denver metro area last month.

The 13,771-square-foot home at 7 Vista Rd. was built by Dick Tanner, a custom homebuilder who generally works in the area, and features six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Recent renovations include new hardwood floors; French doors in the living, dining room and library; redone bathrooms with heated floors; and a new chef’s kitchen.

On May 29, the home was sold to August and Kathleen Geise, according to property records.

August is the owner of AGW4 Associates, a Centennial-based business management consultant, according to his LinkedIn profile. Kathleen is a science instructor at the Community College of Aurora, according to the school’s website.

The seller purchased the property in 2017 for $4.5 million as well, according to property records.

John Fitzpatrick with Kentwood Real Estate represented the seller, and Kendall Boyd with Milehimodern represented the buyer.

“This was the largest curbside closing I’ve ever had; that’s a given,” Fitzpatrick said.
