Residents in the southern suburbs now have a new gym for burpee and barbell workouts.
All American CrossFit Southglenn opened in 3,000 square feet at 7470 S. University Blvd. in Centennial this month.
The gym already has signed up 80 members.
Co-owners Sophia Lind and Aaron Yost are both veterans, and the gym is offering discounts for veterans and active service folks.
“Our one-hour workouts boost endurance, strengthen muscles and restore the body for the most efficient workout possible,” Lind said. “All American CrossFit is ideal for anyone who wants to get a well-rounded and convenient workout, and have fun doing it.”
Memberships start at $110 per month and top out at $160 for unlimited classes.
The 60-minute classes combine high-intensity interval training, strength training, gymnastics, endurance and mobility. The gym offers six CrossFit intro classes for beginners, as well as its own Barbell Club for members wanting to focus on Olympic lifting.
A CrossFit gym in Englewood, CrossFit Unbroken, closed in 2015. But the southern suburbs are still home to some CrossFits, including Centennial CrossFit, CrossFit Kada Littleton and CrossFit Modig in Highlands Ranch.
