In preparation for an empty nest, a Cherry Hills couple has listed their custom-built home.

Owners Stephanie and Tim Keating, who run a wealth management business in Greenwood Village, said in an email that their youngest of two children is heading to college next year, and they are looking to remain in the area – just in a smaller residence.

They recently listed their Cherry Hills Village English manor home, designed by Denver architect Don Ruggles, for more than $5 million.

Address: 1 Tenaya Lane

List price: $5.25 million

Stats: 16,400 square feet with five bedrooms and eight bathrooms on 2.5 acres.

Sellers: Timothy and Stephanie Keating of Keating Wealth Management. The couple purchased the property in 2002 for $2 million and scraped it. They built the new house in 2010.

Listing broker: Todd Groth with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty

The finer things: A home theater, basement game room, gym and craft rooms. The home also has a secret bathroom and a bookcase with a hidden area, geothermal heating and an elevator.
