Summer may be ending, but one Grand Lake property is just heating up.
On the shores of Colorado’s largest natural lake, a $5.75 million property was listed earlier this month. The most striking feature: enough room to moor 14 boats.
“There’s never been a property of this magnitude that’s sold on the lake,” listing broker Kelly Birner with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty said. “It’s the only lake that has a real lake life. People literally move into their summer residences on the lake.”
Address: 500-504 and 514 Jericho Road, Grand Lake
The stats: The residence has one main home – with 4,300 square feet, four bedrooms and seven bathrooms – in addition to two boathouses with three bedrooms and one bathroom each. The boathouses rest above sheltered docks with room for three boats each. In addition, a separate boat dock has room for eight boats.
Listing broker: Kelly Birner with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty is listing the property, which hit the market Sept. 1.
The seller: According to Grand County property records, the residence belongs to Desoto Colorado LLC.
The finer things: Each building has extensive patios with lake and mountain views, in addition to a hot tub for colder weather. Indoors, features include a theater room and open living room with large windows and a stone mantel and fireplace.
