The electric car startup has put down a flag in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, wallpapering a storefront between J. Crew and Talbots on the lower level of the mall. A sign says the Palo Alto automaker will open a shop there this summer.
The slot will be Tesla’s second Denver showroom. It opened a shop in Lone Tree’s Park Meadows shopping mall six years ago. The company also has a service station on Evans Avenue in Denver.
Tesla has not yet posted positions based in Cherry Creek on its website, although its sign directs applicants to send an email to a company address.
Cherry Creek Shopping Center general manager Nick LeMasters did not immediately return messages seeking comment. Tesla could not immediately be reached for comment. A sales employee at Tesla’s Lone Tree store did not have additional details about the Cherry Creek location.
