Noodles & Company has cleared a location near the University of Denver off its plate.

The Broomfield-based chain announced in February it would close 55 of its 510 stores, but did not disclose which locations would be on the chopping block.

The spot just west of the DU campus, 1737 E. Evans Ave., is owned by Littleton-based Wiss LLC.
