A handful of Denver affordable housing projects are one step closer to breaking ground after the latest round of CHFA tax credit awards.

The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority doled out more than $13 million worth of federal tax credits this week to 13 proposed affordable housing projects across the state. The 13 developments were selected from 43 tax credit applications seeking more than $41 million.

All told, the projects awarded tax credits will add nearly 700 new subsidized apartments statewide. The developments in the Denver metro area will bring 383 new apartments to Denver, Littleton and Aurora.

The Denver-area projects awarded tax credits are below. See the attached PDF for a list of all 43 applications, with the 13 statewide winners highlighted.
