Call it a final loss on the way out of Denver.

Quarterback Russell Wilson, who the Broncos cut this month, sold his Cherry Hills Village mansion this week for millions less than he paid two years ago, according to public records.

Wilson’s Duchess Investments LLC sold the 10 Cherry Hills Park Drive property for $21.5 million, records show. He and singer-songwriter wife Ciara paid $25 million in April 2022, which remains the most ever paid for a Denver-area home.

The buyer in the deal this week was Cherry Park LLC, records show. That entity appears to be linked to Century Communities, a Greenwood Village-based homebuilder, as state records show a lower-level employee at the company formed the entity. A spokeswoman for the company declined to comment.

Century co-CEO Dale Francescon already owns the nearby home at 7 Cherry Hills Park Drive, having bought it for $7 million in 2013, records show. Two other properties along the road, which forms a loop, are also owned by entities that appear linked to Century. BusinessDen reported in mid-February, citing unnamed sources, that Wilson and his wife were accepting offers, and providing tours to prospective buyers, for their mansion.

“My house ain’t for sale,” Wilson told a podcaster after the story was published. “It’s not for sale — it’s not on the market right now.”

The Broncos, who went 13-21 in two seasons with Wilson on the squad, announced on March 4 that the team would cut him. He has since signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 20,000-square-foot home on 5 acres at 10 Cherry Hills Park Drive has four bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, plus his-and-hers walk-in closets, offices and bathroom suites, according to a previous listing of the property. There’s also a 2,590-square-foot indoor swimming pool, a basketball court and a guest apartment with its own kitchen.

Though Wilson found a buyer quickly for his Cherry Hills property, the situation is the opposite in the Seattle area, where he formerly played for the Seahawks. Wilson’s home in Bellevue has been listed for nearly two years, per Zillow. The asking price is $26 million, down from the original $28 million.
