While December isn’t officially in the books, 2019 has seen many million-dollar home sales.
The top sale of the year — coming in at $11.63 million — took place in early December in Cherry Hills Village.
It was the highest-priced home sale in the Denver metro area since 2008, according to the Denver Metro Association of Realtors. The association defines the metro area as 11 counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson, Park and Weld.
Here are the top 10 Denver-area home sales in 2019, as of Dec. 17.
(#1) 5000 E. Quincy Ave. in Cherry Hills Village– $11.63 million

Details: This nearly 24,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms in addition to a 10-car garage with a car wash. The 9-acre property sold on Dec. 3.
(#2) 1133 14th St., Unit 4450 in Denver’s Central Business District – $10.75 million

Details: The penthouse on the eastern side of the Four Seasons condominium building spans a portion of the top two floors of the 45-story building. The condo sold on Jan. 31.

Details: The 2-year-old mansion in Cherry Hills Village sold Oct. 4. Sitting on 1.06 acres of land, the home offers 10,438 square feet of finished living space and an attached four-car garage, according to a listing.

Details: The 20,000-square-foot mansion, which sold on April 4, has four bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and sits atop 3 1/2 acres.

Details: The 18,800-square-foot mansion has seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and a five-car garage on 2.36 acres. It sold on Feb. 26.
(#6) 4949 S. Fairfax St. in Cherry Hills Village – $7.25 million

Details: The two-story home built in 2004 sold on Nov. 4. The mansion has five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, a home theater, a workout room, a cigar or card room, a library with a wet bar and a climate-controlled wine cellar.

Details: Built in 1965, this 13,200-square-foot home holds six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two home offices. The property also includes an eight-car garage and stable. The 10.7-acre estate had been on the market since 2015, originally priced at $14 million. It finally sold in April for $7 million.
