The Future of RiNo Development

For the first installment of our newest event series, BusinessDen and presenting sponsor Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC, are pulling out the crystal ball to examine a topic that’s shaping the future of our region.

Please join us Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the EXDO Event Center (1399 35th St, Denver, CO 80205), for The Future of RiNo Development, an afternoon panel discussion and networking happy hour that will delve into what the future holds for the RiNo neighborhood as told by some of the industry’s heaviest hitters.

Like all BusinessDen events, come to learn, network and schmooze. And to enjoy great food and drink!

We’ve assembled a strong panel of speakers to lead us into the future:

Jonathan Alpert –  Partner, Westfield Company Inc.

The company is developing mixed-use project North Wynkoop, which will incorporate AEG concert venue The Mission Ballroom. Elsewhere in RiNo, Westfield’s S*Park development has brought condos (and a greenhouse) to the 2500 block of Lawrence St.

Fiona ArnoldPresident, MAINSPRING.

The company developed Backyard on Blake, a RiNo marketplace built around a courtyard. MAINSPRING also owns and operates several of the project’s tenants, including coworking space The Workroom and Blue Sparrow Coffee, which has a second location on Platte Street in the works.

Andrew FeinsteinManaging Partner, EXDO Properties.

The company oversees multiple real estate investment and joint venture development projects in RiNo, including the EXDO Event Center and neighboring LGBT nightclub Tracks Denver, the HUB office and retail project and the Cole Market, a mixed-use grocery store and multi-family project currently in development.

David JaudesVice President of Multifamily Development, McWhinney.

The company recently opened RiDE, a micro-studio apartment community at 3609 Wynkoop St. in RiNo. McWhinney’s other Denver projects include the Dairy Block in LoDo, and the redevelopment of Union Station.

Kyle ZeppelinPresident, Zeppelin Development.

The company’s RiNo projects include The Source Hotel + Market Hall, food hall Zeppelin Station and the nine-building Taxi campus.

Guiding the conversation will be moderator Tom Downey, an attorney with law firm Ireland Stapleton who specializes in zoning, code enforcement and public policy work, as well as processes related to liquor licensing, legalized marijuana and licenses governed by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
