A Denver-based operator of urgent care clinics has fenced off real estate along Speer Boulevard that it bought for $2.9 million earlier this year.
The former Suncrest Hospice at 777 E. Speer Blvd. will become an AFC Urgent Care branch.
Suncrest moved from that location to a larger facility in Greenwood Village. A staff member there said it moved to 5700 S. Quebec St. a few weeks ago.
The hospice center’s previous home has a sign for AFC Urgent Care coming soon. Last May, AFC opened a location in the Highlands. The branch was purchased by Darius and Shideh Kerman for $1.68 million. In 2015, the company also bought a location on 13th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard.
AFC operates six urgent care centers in the Denver Metro area. Representatives from the firm could not be reached for comment.
