The Term Sheet: Startup funding roundup for December

Startups across the state raised $42 million in December, led by a Foundry Group-backed software company in Boulder and a medical technology business in Littleton.

Boulder startups out-raised their counterparts in Denver by $6 million, thanks largely to VictorOps, a software company that landed a $15 million Series B.

Across the state, businesses raised $831 million in Form D offerings in December.
